Discover Sensazia All-In Restaurant

If you’re anywhere near Colosseum 80, 7521 PT Enschede, Netherlands, and craving a place where you can taste the world in one evening, Sensazia All-In Restaurant is hard to ignore. I visited on a busy Saturday night after hearing multiple local reviews praise its global buffet concept, and honestly, it lived up to the buzz. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels energetic yet relaxed-modern décor, warm lighting, and the comforting hum of people enjoying good food.

The concept is simple but powerful: an all-inclusive dining experience where you pay a fixed price and explore an extensive menu of international dishes. According to hospitality research from organizations like the World Tourism Organization, diners increasingly prefer experiential dining over traditional à la carte service. That shift is clear here. Instead of ordering one or two plates, you move between live cooking stations, sushi counters, grill sections, and dessert islands, creating your own culinary journey.

During my visit, I started with freshly prepared sushi-salmon nigiri, tuna rolls, and vegetarian maki. The fish tasted clean and fresh, which is crucial in raw preparations. Food safety standards in the Netherlands are among the strictest in Europe, monitored by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA), and it shows. The seafood was properly chilled, and the presentation was meticulous. Then I headed to the teppanyaki grill, where chefs cooked prawns and tenderloin steak right in front of me. Watching the process not only adds entertainment but also builds trust; you see exactly how your food is handled and prepared.

What impressed me most was the diversity of the menu. Beyond Asian specialties, there were Mediterranean salads, Italian pasta dishes, Dutch classics, and even Mexican-inspired options. This variety isn’t just about quantity. The flavors were balanced, and ingredients tasted fresh rather than mass-produced. In buffet-style restaurants, consistency can be a challenge. However, here the kitchen staff constantly replenished trays in smaller batches, which keeps dishes hot and prevents drying out-a practical method often recommended by professional catering associations.

The drink selection is included in the all-in formula, which adds tremendous value. Soft drinks, wine, beer, and even specialty coffees are part of the package. For families or group dinners, that predictable pricing model makes budgeting easy. I noticed several large tables celebrating birthdays, and the staff handled those groups smoothly. Service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. Plates were cleared quickly, and staff members were happy to explain ingredients when asked-especially helpful for guests with allergies.

Online reviews consistently mention the spacious layout, and I can confirm it doesn’t feel cramped even when full. The restaurant’s location in Enschede makes it accessible for both locals and visitors from nearby Germany. Parking around the Colosseum area is convenient, which removes one common stress factor when dining out.

From a professional perspective, the operational model is interesting. All-inclusive dining relies on careful cost control and food forecasting. Restaurants like this analyze consumption patterns-how much sushi versus grilled meat is typically eaten-to maintain profitability without compromising quality. It’s a delicate balance. While I don’t have access to their internal data, the steady flow of replenished dishes and the consistent quality suggest a well-managed kitchen.

Of course, no place is perfect. On peak evenings, you may wait briefly at the most popular stations, especially the grill. That said, the turnover is quick, and the wait never felt frustrating. Reservations are strongly recommended, particularly on weekends.

Overall, dining here feels less like a standard meal and more like a curated tasting tour across continents. Whether you’re planning a casual dinner, a celebration, or simply want to sample diverse cuisines under one roof, this restaurant in Enschede delivers variety, quality, and atmosphere in equal measure.

  • The wok/grill chefs do good work. Not over or undercooked, good tasting meat and fish. Very nice interior, with high ceilings that have cool lamps. Not very expensive and free drink refills and all you can eat anything makes this a very nice experience.

  • Amazing food, delicious grill, very nice staff and clean. Drinks are also included with the rate €25 (except beer). Will definitely go there more often!

  • Nice collection of food. The service of people there was extraordinary. We had a group dinner, and we requested for a Beamer and microphone. Though it was last minute request, they helped us to arrange for it. Very friendly service.

  • A Beautiful Setting, but the Food Could Be Better The restaurant has a great location and makes a strong first impression. The design is beautiful, with plenty of seating and a relaxing atmosphere. One detail I really liked was the pond with fish right at the entrance — a nice touch that adds to the overall vibe. Unfortunately, the food left me a bit disappointed. For €36 (with beer and wine included from the bar), I expected a larger and more varied selection. The hot food section is quite limited, and most of the focus seems to be on the live grill station where chefs prepare meat and seafood on the spot. While this sounds great in theory, I found the grilled food to be overly salty — likely to make you drink more water, and in turn, eat less. Overall, it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink, but if you’re going for the food, it may not fully meet expectations, especially for the price.
